INNOCEAN (CEO William Lee) announced on the 7th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with ten domestic and international companies known for their advanced AI technologies, forming an "AI Alliance" aimed at collaborating on AI projects.
The signing ceremony for the AI Alliance was held at INNOCEAN’s Seoul headquarters, with CEO William Lee and executives from AI-related companies in attendance.
In collaboration with these AI companies, INNOCEAN aims to establish an integrated business solution squad capable of utilizing AI solutions throughout the entire marketing process—strategy, content, media, consulting, and platforms. The company plans to actively collaborate on various future projects and across the full scope of marketing operations.
As AI has rapidly gained prominence, many companies worldwide have sought to apply AI to their operations to enhance performance. The trend has been toward building “integrated AI solutions” that apply AI to all business areas. However, limitations of this approach have recently emerged. The complexity of integrated solutions often leads to issues such as reduced AI reliability, frequent errors, compatibility problems, and difficulties in applying the solutions to real-world work environments.
In fact, this was a key topic at the 'Ai4 Conference' held in Las Vegas in August, where it was revealed that over 90% of global AI projects fail to transition into full-scale business implementations.
To overcome these challenges, a new approach called the "small start" methodology is gaining attention. This strategy focuses on introducing AI in smaller, more manageable areas first, ensuring the right solutions are implemented where they are most needed.
INNOCEAN is also adopting the "small start" strategy to secure AI capabilities across different business sectors, aiming to increase the success rate of AI implementation within companies. A representative from INNOCEAN explained, "Rather than trying to develop an all-encompassing AI solution, the trend is shifting toward applying AI in small areas to increase project success rates."
Under the small start strategy, INNOCEAN plans to optimize AI usage in each business unit's current operations and initiate practical AI-driven projects to achieve meaningful business upgrades. Through the AI Alliance, INNOCEAN will build an environment where optimal AI solutions can be implemented and utilized promptly across its main business areas.
For example, partners handling planning may suggest AI strategies to INNOCEAN, research firms may discover AI-driven insights, and production companies may generate AI-based content like images. These outputs will then be integrated and delivered through collaborations with platform and digital media companies, creating a stable AI service infrastructure.
Through the AI Alliance, INNOCEAN aims to achieve tangible performance improvements in key business areas by utilizing AI. The company emphasized that it will actively listen to the needs of each business unit regarding the functionality and roles of the AI solutions and engage in discussions about detailed business plans.
INNOCEAN also noted that the AI Alliance’s participating companies would benefit from INNOCEAN’s expertise to develop high-quality AI solutions for the marketing field. The global network of INNOCEAN can further expand the co-developed solutions worldwide, creating significant synergy.
INNOCEAN’s CEO William Lee stated, "This AI Alliance is the cornerstone of the small start approach, and the co-developed solutions have the potential to make a significant impact on the global marketing market. INNOCEAN aims to become a company that provides AI solutions and consulting services that offer real, tangible benefits to our clients' businesses in the AI era."
