■ Named to Ad Age’s prestigious “2026 A-List,” becoming the first Korean advertising company ever to do so in the U.S. market
■ Recognized based on a comprehensive evaluation of creative excellence, business performance, and industry influence among U.S. agencies
INNOCEAN has become the first Korean advertising company to be named among the “Top 10 Most Outstanding Marketing Companies” in the United States, the world’s largest advertising market.
INNOCEAN (Global CEO Jung A Kim) announced on March 11 that it has been selected for the Top 10 of the 2026 A-List, announced by Ad Age, one of the world’s most authoritative marketing trade publications. The recognition reflects the company’s overall competitiveness in the global advertising industry, built on its creative capabilities, stable business growth, and strengthened leadership.
Ad Age’s A-List is a program that comprehensively evaluates agencies operating in the U.S. market based on creative performance, business results, and industry influence. It carries particular significance in that it goes beyond performance in any single area to assess an agency’s overall management and business achievements from the previous year, making it a highly symbolic benchmark within the global advertising industry. In the United States in particular, it is regarded as one of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions, comparable to the Oscars in film, the Forbes List in business, and the Michelin stars in fine dining.
INNOCEAN is the first—and so far the only—Korean agency ever to be included on the list among domestic firms that have entered the U.S. market. The U.S. advertising market is widely known as the largest in the world, accounting for 35.3% of the global total, or more than one-third of the entire market.
Steve Jun, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Business and the Americas at INNOCEAN, said, “We have consistently worked to recruit talented people, strengthen teamwork across the organization, and build capabilities in tech and innovation, including AI. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it reflects the industry’s acknowledgment of our broader management efforts—from expanding our client base to establishing a foundation for sustainable growth.”
The company’s first entry into the Top 10 is widely seen as the result of years of steadily accumulated competitiveness in the U.S. market. Since becoming the first Korean advertising company to produce a Super Bowl commercial in 2010, INNOCEAN has expanded its presence in the U.S. by delivering fresh creativity and differentiated brand experiences.
Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, INNOCEAN continues to set firsts for Korea’s advertising industry on the global stage—not only through creative excellence, but also as a representative agency for the country. These milestones include ranking No. 1 in the 2016 Super Bowl ad preference survey with Genesis’s “First Date,” becoming the first automotive brand and the first non-U.S. company to do so; winning back-to-back Cannes Lions Grand Prix awards in 2025; and now being selected for the 2026 A-List.
The company has also maintained solid business growth. In 2025, INNOCEAN USA posted revenue of USD 460 million, up 7.7% year over year, ranking second across all of Southern California, where it is headquartered. Southern California itself has an economic scale comparable to that of a major global nation, with a population of around 20 million.
INNOCEAN USA currently serves a wide range of clients, including Hyundai Motor, Kia, Genesis, Hankook Tire, TaylorMade, chicken fast-food brand El Pollo Loco, the world’s largest hot dog restaurant chain Wienerschnitzel, NEFT vodka, and Jinro USA.
